Last Friday was the most glorious wedding of Erica & Dave!

Dave is an old, old school pal and it was fab catching up with him & getting to know Erica while they were up in Leeds for the pre-wed (post here).
But I felt so involved and looked after all weekend. I was put up at the pub in the picturesque village of Sonning with the groomsmen and had a lovely meal with them the night before the wedding. On the day I was chauffeured about and looked after by everyone. After cameras were put to bed (in my room at the Manor House!) I joined the guests for a bit of Singstar Karaoke (to a poorly selected Spice Girls ‘Wannabe’) & even managed a cheeky dance before joining the The Manor House residents for an after hours drink (including an honourary membership to Dave’s secret University ‘Rum Club’).
After I trained down to Reading the day before, Dave’s bro (& best man) Richard took me round Aldermaston Manor House (their reception venue) for a nosey. I’d done very little research on the place, and I won’t lie, I was rather happy when I found I was shooting at this place:

Amazing eh? What a spot. And that weather held up all weekend. Glorious.
During Erica & Dave’s wedding breakfast I backed up their images to my laptop and made a quick slideshow to show at the evening reception. Generally these slideshows are around 80>100 images long and just run on the laptop on a table somewhere. They’re a great way for not only the bride & groom to get a taster of things to come, but for everyone to see what happened behind closed doors in the morning and for evening guests to see what happened before they arrived.
Even though they’re only a taster of quickly ‘processed’ images from the day, and generally aren’t up to the scratch of the final images, I’ve decided to start blogging these slideshows so guests can see a selection literally a few days after the big day.
You may remember that Helen & Richard’s On The Day Slideshow a while back was to Take That’s ‘Rule The World’ – in keeping with her TT obsession. Well Erica had a similarly crazy about the boys, so I’ve set theirs to Take That’s ‘Greatest Day’. I promise it’s not because I’m a fan!
Anyhoos – while they enjoy their honeymoon in Mexico, enjoy their ‘On The Day Slideshow’:

A final blog post is coming soon.
ps: To all the family & guests there who made my say so enjoyable, thank you all so much!
