Last Saturday I joined Jenny & Dave for their beautiful wedding in Nantwich, in East Cheshire.
You may remember I joined them last week at St Mary’s Church in Acton for their pre-wed (one of the UKs 1000 most awesome churches) – see their pre-wed in my blog post here – and held their reception in and around the grand Wrenbury Hall.
They had their fair share of bridesmaids, and the morning was full of fun at Jenny’s folks lovely house.

This is why I always have two shooters at my weddings, so we can both catch the moments from two perspectives.
We mosied over to Wrenbury for Pimms on the lawn
While the resplendent hall (with it’s wonderful skylights!) received it’s finishing touches.
While Jenny & Dave’s guests tucked into their dinner we backed up the day’s images to my laptop and made a quick slideshow to show at the evening reception. Generally these slideshows are around 80>100 images long and just run on the laptop on a table somewhere. They’re a great way for not only the bride & groom to get a taster of things to come, and also for guests to see what happened during the morning and ceremony.
Even though they’re only a taster of quickly ‘processed’ images from the day, and generally aren’t up to the scratch of the final images, I’ve taken to setting the pix to their first dance song to let the couple and their pals see the images literally a few days after the wedding.
