A few weeks back I joined these good lookers, Megan & Ed, at Ed’s family home near Preston for their countrified pre-wedding practice shoot!

When I arrived, mum was reading the paper and dad was enjoying a cigar in the lounge of their beautiful house.

Ed grew up here and liked the idea of their practice shoot being round his neck of the woods; though the wedding will be at Priory Cottages near Wetherby this weekend.

Dressed in wax and Hunter Wellies, it seemed only apt to use one of dad’s shotguns as a prop!

After a few pics around the house, and in spite of the rain, we took a stroll around the local lanes

You could see the beautiful Beacon Fell Country Park in the distance, shrouded in mist.

We took a little lap around the Waddecar activity centre, where we found a bit of cover for a smooch…

I always like to put a couple together in front of the camera ahead of the big day to get them used to being papped!

It puts everyone at ease and really helps loosen things up on the big day!

Looks like something out of the Joules Catalogue!

On the way back I spotted this puddle for a nice reflective kissing photo…

Which looked quite fun the other way up too!

Stay tuned for Megan and Ed’s official wedding blog, live on Sunday!
