Yesterday we joined Nicole + David for their wedding photography at Priory Cottages between Tadcaster & Wetherby!
Sometimes you’re photographing a couple and it’s just so transparently clear that they are so massively in love. Nicky & David were exactly like this – and it’s so lovely to capture. There’s no forcing it for the camera, it just shows.
And while the weather was a bit February-like, the Priory made for the perfect spot to host a relaxed party for a great crowd of their dear and near. David’s a graphic designer and you could see it in all the beautiful font work everywhere, and Nicole clearly brought a whole host of other creative touches. But it never went over the top, and the moments topped the details in a way that makes a wedding special.
My wingman Hamish & I are chuffed with this set, as it’s a wedding based around LOVE – which of course they all should be, but so often get lost in the pomp and the details.
