On Saturday Hamish & I joined Amy & Dil to do the wedding photography at their big day at Shustoke Farm Barns near Coleshill in Warwickshire!
The whole day had a pretty torrential-looking forecast, and as we drove down from Leeds I was preparing ideas on how to use the indoor spaces at this Cripps venue to still get lovely portraits and groupshots. I think in my 11 years doing this, I’ve only had 1 wedding where we were literally trapped inside all day long, and this wedding was no exception! As if by magic the rain literally stopped as Amy & Dil walked down the aisle and didn’t start again until the sparklers had gone out as we bid our farewells! Crazy lucky!
 But whether the weather had behaved or not, this was a lovely wedding all round! Amy and Dil make a really beautiful pair, and their friends and family were fantastic sports & lots of fun. Right up my street, pulling silly team shots and generally having a laugh. Plus, the venue looked fantastic (Amy made the amazing cake too!), the creamy tarragon rotisserie roast chicken dinner by Cripps Kitchen was super tasty, and the band that rocked the evening were absolutely bang on!
