Last Friday I joined Danielle & Sean for their Autumnal wedding photography at the beautiful Middleton Lodge Estate near Richmond!
It was a beautiful day, set within the walls of the stunning Georgian country house in acres and acres of stunning farmland and beautiful garden topiary. I do enjoy shooting up at Lodge, and Jess and the gang ran the day with that perfect blend of being both personal and having the military precision of a seasoned wedding veteran! They even have an entirely new ‘Kitchen Garden Wedding Venue’ opening next May, so I’m excited to see that in action…
While I had a relaxed morning in the bridal suite with the girls, I dropped my wingman Hamish with Sean and the chaps at his folks near Catterick Garrison. Sean’s in the Army & he and Danielle are big car fanatics, so of course they had matching private plates to match their new surnames on their fancy cars (which stood proud outside the lodge all day!)
All in all, it was the perfect relaxed and intimate family affair, organised mainly by Danielle’s lovely mum Rosie, and the day went off without a hitch.
