On Saturday I joined Angela + Bob for their wedding photography at St. Mary The Virgin Church in Strensall and for their wedding reception at The Parsonage Hotel & Spa, in Escrick not too far from York, in North Yorkshire!
It was a wonderfully relaxed and family focussed affair, as these guys are bringing together a huge family in their union! As well as the big moments – confetti explosions, first kisses & first dances – it’s such a pleasure to document family moments, like sons giving thoughtful gifts to their mum, or the bride showing her dad the surprise locket of her passed away mum. It’s really beautiful to see all this kind of magic. Either way, the weather and holiday traffic to Scarborough didn’t foul play, and all in all it was a beautiful day with a really lovely couple!
