On Saturday I joined Kath + Tom for their wedding photography at Saltmarsh Hall in East Yorkshire!

It’s the first time I’ve shot here and it was an outstanding spot for a wedding! The hall is a stunning grade II listed 19th-century country house, set in 17 acres of gardens, on the north bank of the River Ouse between Goole and Howden. While I joined the girls at Saltmarshe Hall, my wingman Martyn Hand spent the morning with the chaps at Tom’s folks home outside York. Then after a fun ceremony and a big ol’ confetti blast, it become such a great party! They even brought their table tennis table, for a bit of Bride vs Groom action! Speeches were moving and hilarious, we had a skip about in the golden hour sunset, then the evening band, The Rebel Sounds, absolutely rocked the night in (through until 1am apparently!)

It honestly couldn’t have been a better day – we had such a laugh documenting the story and everything went off swimmingly!

As well as this highlights blog, I’ll be uploading their full set of images to a password protected client area in a few weeks, so if you’d like to be notified when all their images go live, register your email address at: clients.barnabyaldrick.com/KathAndTom. (NB: I won’t use your email address for anything but their gallery alerts!)

In the meantime, I hope you enjoy our photography highlights below…

What a lovely day hey? It was a genuine pleasure to be along for the ride!

And what a lovely pair! Here’s wishing Kath + Tom a fab honeymoon and a wicked minimoon in the Dordogne, in France! Congratulations guys…
