On Saturday I joined Kerry + Jonny for their Wedding Photography at The Woodman Inn in Thunderbridge, near Kirkburton not far from Huddersfield.
While temperatures have started to drop of late, it was magic to get a dry and mainly sunny day in this stunning Autumnal Valley exploding in hues of orange and brown! Jonny owns and runs a really successful tattoo shop and got to know Kerry by drawing on her, until they fell in love! They make a really sweet pair, and decided to eschew the usual wedding traditions (no groomsmen, hardly a speech and only a sister bridesmaid & Jonny’s adorable daughter Izzy as the flower girl), to end up with a super relaxed celebration! It was more about amazing cakes than the formalities! 😉
It’s also not the first time I’ve shot these guys, as I photographed Jonny’s sister Sarah’s wedding to Luke at Crow Hill in Marsden last Spring! So it was great to see some old faces and to join the gang for another knees up…
