A few weeks back I joined Emma & Matt at East Riddlesdon Hall, where I’ll be shooting their wedding photography this coming Saturday.

It’s a special place for me as one of  my very early weddings was here years back when I was but an upstart.  It’s a fantastic National Trust house & a lovely place to photograph, surrounded by a beautiful lake and manicured topiary

Matt tells me the carrot cake is pretty special too.  Any cake that’s so big it has to be wedged into a standard size cake holder is good with me.

Like all my couples, Matt & Emma we’re suitably nervous about being shot, but have been great fans of my work and put their faith in the process!

In fact – East Riddlesdon have apparently got a set list of photographers they pimp, and couples have to jump through a series of hoops to to get a photographer of their choice through the door.  So it’s ace to hear they fought to get me along for the ride!

We began with a gentle turn around the grounds…

… catching a few moments caught around the grounds, limbering up for the big day!

I love this ‘High-Key’ natural shot we caught of Emma looking to camera.

They’re planning on doing something special with the pre-wed pictures on their wedding day, but I’ll keep it a surprise for the guests…

It’s always nice when you drive over in the gloom & the weather pops on cue.

I’m fully looking forward to joining these two this weekend. Bring it on!
