Yesteday, Hamish & I headed to Derbyshire for the wedding photography at Sarah & Sim’s big day at Blackbrook House in Belper!
This really was a lovely wedding! First up, it coincided with Sarah’s Mum & Dad’s 39th wedding anniversary – which was apparently also a lovely toasty summer’s day like these guys had the good fortune of enjoying with their near and dear! Plus, when Sarah was born, her parents bought a Morris Minor Saloon, which ended up being her first car (known as ‘Val’), and dad had lovingly restored it for a starring role as the lead wedding car! So we ended up using Val in some fun photos throughout the day!
After their brilliant service at St Edmund’s in Allestree, it was lovely to head somewhere new to shoot at! Blackbrook Hall is a great venue, and the staff looked after the guests (and us!) & managed the day fantastically…
Above is a slideshow of highlights that tell the story of Sarah + Sim’s big day at Blackbrook House in Belper, set to a soundtrack of songs they used through the day: including ‘Something in the way you look tonight ’ by Elton John and ‘Grow Old With Me’ by Tom Odell – all available to download at amazon music at amazon.co.uk/digitalmusic. Also, if you can’t see the slideshow above, you’d can view it in HD at vimeo.com/176928839
As the images can pass too quick to take in at your leisure, I also like to post a flow of my fave pics in images below! I hope you enjoy…
Lovely day hey!
Here’s wishing Sarah & Sim a fantastic married life together as man & wife, and a relaxing honeymoon break in Madeira!
