Hornington Manor: One of my favourite Yorkshire barn wedding venues on a working farm!

Hornington Manor is an exciting luxury barn wedding venue on the edge of York in a village called Oxton, near Bolton Percy and York, in North Yorkshire!

Newly launched in Autumn 2022 the Russet Ceremony Barn has stunning vaulted whalebone, oak framed arches and beautiful statement lighting.

The barn began life as home to newborn Spring lambs at Hornington’s farm, now stylishly converted to welcome the birth of new love stories, offering a characterful and unforgettable setting to wedding couples starting a lifetime of happiness together.

It can seat up to 150 guests and licensed for civil ceremonies.

Afterwards there are loads of ways to get amazing confetti pics!

It takes something special to make a great wedding venue AWESOME! And at Hornington, you’re not only in an exclusive, secluded, luxury farmhouse venue, but there’s also accommodation to sleep 44 – so guests can party until the wee hours!

Barnaby photographed our wedding in August this year. He was incredible from start to finish. At our pre-wedding shoot he was great at getting us to feel comfortable in front of the camera (not an easy task), and we left the pre-shoot feeling confident about the running of the day and that Barnaby had a good understanding of the moments we were hoping to capture. On the day itself Barnaby was a huge help in getting things to run smoothly, making sure we had the right people in the right place to get the shots that we wanted. He was great with our children and got some fantastic shots of the kids having fun, in addition to some beautiful family shots and candid moments throughout the day. We are thrilled with the photos that we have got back, and the turnaround time was quicker than expected which was an added bonus. We cannot recommend Barnaby enough, we thought that the pre wedding photo shoot was great but the photos we've had back on the wedding blog have not only captured every detail of our day but the whole vibe and emotions. We cannot believe how we never even saw you taking most of these.  There are so many wonderful natural shots. As a couple who don't normally like to be photographed you put us at ease and captured us having a brilliant day, as well as getting all the formal shots we asked for. 5 stars simply isn’t enough! ⭐️ From start to finish, the whole process with Barnaby was completely seamless. Our pre-wedding shoot was such a lovely experience and really helped put us at ease in front of the camera. My daughter chose Barnaby as he came highly recommended and we were definitely not disappointed. He was everywhere!! He took so many photos, especially of things we would never have thought of and put them together in a digital album, that was fantastic. He put my daughter and everyone else at ease, we didn’t know he was there half the time. The photos were beyond our expectations. Barnaby is an absolute genius when it comes to photography, and you can see it in the shots he manages to produce effortlessly. He's such a warm and friendly personality, and was an absolute pleasure to have at our wedding.
