Last weekend I joined Jenny + Chris for their gorgeous wedding photos at Eaves Hall near Clitheroe – a gorgeous Georgian-style country house wedding venue at the heart of Lancashire’s beautiful Ribble Valley!
Now I met Chris when I was a waiter at TGI Friday’s back in the day and we got on instantly. Around the time I left, he met Jenny there too and they’ve been inseparable since. While we’ve headed our own ways and become semi-fledged ‘adults’, those days hold some really fond memories for me, so when he got back in touch to ask if I’d pap his special day I was stoked. However, that was back in late 2018, and since then a pandemic has rudely forced them to postpone their date not once, but twice! And in that time, Chris & Jenny have even had a baby, Lilli, who made for a very cute little flower girl!
Thankfully, Big Day v3 went off without postponement and apart from a floral drama and mother nature scuppering the outdoor ceremony, it was such splendid day! A sign on the bar (which served their custom wedding ale called ‘Third Time Lucky’) said “We’ve waited an extra 2 years for today, so please party accordingly!” – and that they did! As well as a lovely up for it crowd of friends and fam, a host of pals from our Friday’s days were there, leading the charge on the dancefloor in the evening! So good to see those friendly faces, all these years later!
Eaves Hall made for the perfect backdrop to this beautiful wedding and the highlight for me was the musical entertainment – a duo played acoustic covers as the evening sun set before singing the first dance, then a brilliant DJ was accompanied by live sax & drums and the dancefloor went ballistic! Awesome times!
It was such a pleasure to spend the day with Jenny + Chris and seeing what a lovely family they have and family they’ve created. I hope you enjoy their wedding highlights slideshow below…
