Last Saturday I joined the lovely Camilla + Will for their wedding photography at the bridal family home in the beautiful rolling Yorkshire hills near Halifax!
After a bit of a wet start, everything came together swimmingly! I followed the girls relaxed morning preparations at the house and my wingman (and local to the area) Ben Clarke joined the guys for an usher’s lunch in Hebden Bridge. Come 2pm, everyone headed to the pretty village of Luddenden for the ceremony at St Mary’s… Well almost, as the 65year old Roller known as ‘The Old Girl’ decided to break down half way there! Fortunately one of the three best men tore up in his Audi to save the day and the famously punctual bride ended up being slightly tardy (much to the groom’s amusement!)
After a host of hugs and a blast of confetti outside the church, we headed back to the house for fizz and nibbles in the sunshine, with a few relaxed portraits and groups on the lawn and down the lane. Before long Dad raised his toasts and guests settled down for a lovely tea (not dinner, it is Yorkshire after all!) in the beautiful poled marquee, stunningly decorated by Fiona & the gang at Firenza flowers. After a moving grooms speech, the best men hosted a hilarious round of ‘Who wants to Camilla-ionaire’ and a Barbershop singsong (as you do), and then it was time to cut the cheese and hit the dancefloor!
Now grab a Yorkshire Tea and settle back to enjoy our slideshow of faves from this frankly very lovely day…
I’ll be uploading their full set of images to a password protected client area in just a few weeks, so if you’d like to be notified when all their images go live, register to be notified at: clients.barnabyaldrick.com/CamillaAndWill

So here’s wishing ‘Milla’ & Will a very happy married life together and a fab honeymoon in Argentina!
Loads of love guys,
Barnaby + Ben
