I spent a couple of hours in Roundhay Park today with our pals Jane, Mark & little Archibald. I think they’d said to us at a dinner party that they hadn’t really got anything but point and shoot photos of Archie, so asked if Clare & I fancied joining them for a family day out & a few snaps. They said they’d throw in lunch, and we knew how good Jane was at cooking, so we agreed…
Archie was such an ace little dude. Full of beans and at that inquisitive age where he directs your attention to anything he finds interesting with a point.
Chucking a few stones with pops.
Not sure A was entirely convinced about the location of this shot.
Feeding the ducklings actually turned into a game of Archie eats all the bread.
Messing about in the park play area.
As I said: Dude.
Little nutter. I’ve got grown-up mates that still do this.
Archie still remembers kids sign language, which he leant before he could speak. The first image in this set is telling mum he spotted another kid asleep. Cool eh?
Apparently he’s more likely to give mummy a kiss if she’s got cake! Then he donned his sunnies, and promptly bust em in two. Kids.

I quite liked this arty one of our three amigos
Get a load of his trike! Sweet.
Finally, back at the ranch, Archie thought he’d water the plants, focussing mainly on the weeds.
Meanwhile, Jane tret us good by baking fresh bread…
…to make hot fish finger butties! Packed with ketchup & freshly picked rocket from the garden too! Genius. The way to this photographer’s heart is defo through his stomach.
Happy days!
