Yesterday I joined Le & Damon for their amazing wedding photography at Meols Hall near Southport in Merseyside!

As Damon is from Merseyside and Leticia (“Le”) from Rio, these guys incorporated some lovely Brazilian traditions to their celebrations – such as having extra family walk down the aisle, a ‘ringwarming’ blessing done by the celebrant, and as you’d expect from the Brazilians, passionate hugs, great dresses, sunglasses, hot dance moves and Cachaça cocktail shots to go with the evening bbq!

I shot this wedding on my own, so after a bit of morning fun with the girls, I caught up with the chaps at the Meols Hall Tithe Barn, just past the historical manor house (some of which dates back as far as the 12th century!).

Le & Damon are a lovely pair; tender and fun together, and worse their emotions on their sleeves all day – with occasional teary moments from Damon, the Brides Father & guests moved by the touching ceremony & speeches! I do love it when people show their emotions at a wedding.

Bizarrely, I spotted a ‘Meerkat’ theme running through the day, as I found out Damon thinks Le looks like one! He even had Meerkat & the date inscribed inside his wedding band!

I had great fun at this one, and I hope it shows in the fun pics! You couldn’t really have asked for more from the weather, the planning and Pam & Sue from Meols Hall running everything in the background! I hope you enjoy the pics as much as I did shooting them! Now sit back, pour yourself a Brazilian Caipirinha, and enjoy their slideshow below…

I’ll be uploading their full set of images to a password protected client area in just a few weeks, so if you’d like to be notified when all their images go live, register to be notified at: clients.barnabyaldrick.com/LeticiaAndDamon

(NB: I’ll only use your email address to notify you about their gallery)

In the meantime, feel free to share this loveliness to Facebook using the buttons at the bottom (or copy and paste the web address URL into a status), via my Facebook page here or hover over the images to pin to Pinterest too!

So here’s wishing this lovely couple, a very happy married life together and a fab honeymoon in Kenya & Mauritius at the end of the year!

Loads of love guys!
