Yesterday, I joined Cathy & Eddie for their fun wedding photos at The Merchant Adventurer’s Hall in York!
After a morning’s preparations with Team Groom (and their lovely little boy Bradley), I dashed across York to join the girls in their Franklin’s Yard apartment, just over the road from The amazing Merchant Adventurers’ Hall. It wasn’t long before Cathy was in her gorgeous gown and it was lovely revealing her to Team Bride and her proud dad! Before long, we headed over to the road (through the busy York crowds!) to the stunning timbered Great Hall for a romantic wedding ceremony!
After congratulatory cuddles, we headed round to the secluded walled garden for a quick round of confetti and official pics and portraits, and it wasn’t long before the newlyweds joined their guests for hacky sack championships and lawn games! It was so lovely photographing this relaxed pair, their fun wedding party, friends & family. I do love an Irish wedding too!
Hilarious speeches were dotted before and after a delicious meal, followed by evening shenanigans in the ancient Undercroft, where the proceedings kicked off with cinnamon fireball from their Shot-Ski! (a habit they picked up doing a season in whistler I hear!)
You couldn’t have hoped for a nicer couple, a nicer day and a more perfect York Wedding. I hope you enjoy my slideshow and story photos below…
I’ll be uploading their full set of images to their client area in just a few weeks, so if you’d like to be notified when all their images go live, register to be notified at: https://barnabyaldrick.pic-time.com/-cathyeddie/register
