Last Friday we crossed t’Pennines to join Vickee & Andy for their Inn at Whitewell Wedding in Lancaster.
It was the coolest wedding & the warmest day we’ve enjoyed in a while…
They got married at Ashton Memorial, proudly sat on the hill overlooking Lancaster. Â [There’s more info about the memorial in their pre-wed here]

Afterwards we drove (me with them in the Samba Camper!) through the simply stunning Trough of Bowland to their reception venue – the Inn at Whitewell, a well know gastro-pub in the middle of nowhere. Here they had an extended champagne reception and enjoyed the company of their pals, before settling into the marquee for the wedding breakfast.
It was so great to join Vickee & Andy for their cool & chilled big day o’er t’other side o’Pennines. Â Even cooler to hear everyone sound like Peter Kay.
In spite of the beautiful sunshine we’re enjoying here, Vickee & Andy will be leaving on a jetplane to enjoy their Honeymoon in Thailand on the way back to their home in Australia. Sawatdee, kids!
