Last weekend I joined Ruth + Joe for their wonderful winter wedding photography at Hornington Manor.
I’ve shot here a few times recently (and at their new sister wedding venue The Oakwood at Ryther too) and it’s a fantastic spot! I love the exclusive, homely vibe couples and their guests get, taking over this beautifully restored farmhouse and specially converted barn. It’s the perfect spot for a relaxed wedding whatever the season. And while a little brisk outside, Ruth + Joe got great weather for a winter wedding, perfectly suited for the ‘snowfetti’ confetti pic above, and warm under tweed suits and white fluffy shawls!Â
Ruth + Joe are a lovely, chilled-out pair, who actually live down the road from me in Leeds! We even met in our local park (where we both walk our dogs!) back in a December snowstorm for their pre-wedding practice pics! Their guests were just as fun, and made me feel so welcome (and did the bride’s mother Linda, who kept checking I’d been well fed!)
It’s so lovely to be back shooting weddings again in 2022, and what a special way to kick off the year!
