Last weekend I joined Annie + Steve for their wedding photography at the lovely Shustoke Farm Barns, a Cripps Wedding Venue near Coleshill in the East Midlands.

It really was a magic day all round! After relaxed preparations at the swanky Belfry Golf Course Hotel in Sutton Coldfield, the gang headed over to Shustoke Barns in their wedding car, a Rolls Royce adorned with Claret & Blue ribbons – as Annie & her dad are Aston Villa season-ticket superfans! The Scottish groom and his family stood proud in the variations of their family Anderson Tartan, amid their Scottish guests in their own kilts. With Annie’s beautiful dress, and the English contingent in top hats and tails, the whole affair looked rather splendid indeed! In the evening, we ran our fun photobooth, while a magician entertained the new arrivals, and we even managed to dip out in the light drizzle for some funky flash shots before a rocking first dance to Paint it Black by the Rolling Stones! Nice choice – everything worked out beautifully!

As well as this highlights blog, I’ll be uploading their full set of images to a password protected client area in a few weeks, so if you’d like to be notified when all their images go live, register your email address at: (NB: I’ll only use your email address to notify you about their gallery!)

In the meantime, I hope you enjoy their wedding story, shot by myself & my wingman Drew Kingston…

What a lovely day hey!? Fun times all round.

Here’s wishing Annie & Steve huge congratulations and may you guys have a wonderful life together as man & wife!
