Wedding Photos at Wood Hall near Wetherby: Lydia + Martin

Yesterday I joined Lydia + Martin just outside Wetherby in Yorkshire, for their summery wedding photos at Wood Hall Hotel & Spa!

It was a scorcher too… the best you could have asked for from a July wedding! (Unless of course you were a groomsman in a three piece wool suit!).

Everything went off swimmingly too. I had a fun morning with the gaggle of girls a sweet little flower girl and their 9 month old Emilia in the courtyard suite of rooms at Wood Hall, while my wingman Matt Baxter joined the dudes at their home in Birkenshaw.

Nerves were put to rest after a quick ceremony in Wood Hall’s smaller, but in my opinion more pretty ‘Georgian Room’, followed by an afternoon enjoying fizz and nibbles the summer sunshine! A quick round of confetti, groups and portraits, and we were back inside for a delicious meal and touching speeches (always nice to hear from the Mother of the Bride, for a change)! As the evening set in the groomsmen enjoyed their wedding cigars with a whisky before cutting the stunning cake and getting stuck into the dancefloor!

Lydia + Martin, make for a lovely pair and it was a real pleasure documenting the story of their day with little Emilia & their near and dear!
