Wedding photos at Burtonfields Hall, near York: Suzanne + Harry

Last Saturday I joined Suzanne + Harry for their chilled-out summery wedding photos at Burtonfields Hall in Stamford Bridge!

Set in the stunning Yorkshire countryside on the outskirts of the picturesque city of York, it was the first time I’ve photographed a wedding at Burtonfields hall! Let me tell you, it is an absolute beaut of a wedding venue!

Not only that, but Suzanne + Harry are great value, their plans were chilled, traditions dropped (hello sequin dress!) and the sun blazed all day long! The ceremony was pretty amazing too, strutting with Dad down the aisle to a Eclectic Harmony Gospel Choir’s rendition of Talking Heads’ ‘This Must Be The Place’! Then after high 5-ing their way down the aisle, the afternoon and evening blended into one long party of awesome grub, drinks and lawn games…

You couldn’t ask for more!

Will and the team at Burtonfields Hall managed the day brilliantly and I just had a blast with everyone! It’s just so lovely when you get to see a really lovely couple just enjoying every moment on their big day, all the way up to leaving them shaking their Northern Soul shuffle on the dance floor!
