Rudding Park: Wedding photography at a stunning Yorkshire Hotel & Spa!
Last weekend I joined Rachael & Josh for their Wedding Photos at Rudding Park Hotel & Spa.
It was a stunning summer’s day as I joined Rachael and team bride in the hotel, having lots of fun getting stuck into the Prosecco! The sun was shining down as suppliers set up for the first outdoor civil ceremony I’ve photographed there, and everything looked amazing. Not long later, the groom touched down with his son and best man in a helicopter – another first for me at Rudding – what a way to arrive!
It’s pretty amazing to photograph a groom arriving in a helicopter!
A teary moment of Rachael’s proud Dad during the dress reveal was soon turned to laughter as they did a shot of Rose Tequila together. The outdoor ceremony was a treat, as they walked down the aisle through a shower of confetti! Then the afternoon reception was packed with canapes, fizz and fun – with giant ten-pin bowling, live singers, a white bouncy castle and a close up magician blowing peoples minds!
Delicious dinner done and sentimental speeches smashed, it was soon time to cut a towering cake, do the first dance (to a lovely cover of Shania’s ‘You’re Still The One’) before get stuck into the dancefloor, with live sax and bongos!
A celebration with ALL the trimmings… and fantastic weather to boot!
You genuinely couldn’t ask for more and the newlyweds looked like they, and their two lovely kids, had the time of their lives!
