Last weekend I joined Kat + Marcus out towards Wetherby and Linton, for their wedding photography at Wood Hall Hotel & Spa!
Kat + Marcus are a lovely pair, and while Marcus is a Yorkshire lad, Kat’s from the Philippines! She and Marcus met working in Saudi Arabia, where they both still live, and chose to have their wedding in God’s own County of Yorkshire!
I do enjoy photographing a Wood Hall wedding and this was no exception! It all went off without a hitch, especially considering it had almost exclusively been planned from overseas! A good few members of Kat’s family made it over join the fun (many of them as bridesmaids!) and to witness the drama of British summertime weather! But the rains held off, and guests enjoyed the sunshine overlooking the beautiful dale. And after the amusing speeches, guests were even treated by the father of the bride to a spot of karaoke before the cake was cut and the (frankly amazing) evening reggae band got the dancefloor skankin’! Amazing times.
So grab y’sen a mug of Yorkshire tea (or a flute of fizz!) and hit play on the slideshow below to check out their wedding highlights slideshow…
I’ll be uploading their full set of images to a password protected client area in just a few weeks, so if you’d like to be notified when all their images go live, register to be alerted at: clients.barnabyaldrick.com/KatAndMarcus (NB: I’ll only use your email address to notify you about their gallery)
And as the slideshow can rattle past favourite pics, here are my fave photos from their special wedding at Wood Hall Hotel & Spa in Yorkshire…
And after a few lovely evening pics outside the hall, here’s one from the pre-wedding shoot last week in Golden Acre Park!
Here’s wishing these guys huge congratulations and a wonderful life together.
