Last Saturday I joined Rachael & Rob for their fun wedding photos at The Wellbeing Farm in a place called Edgeworth in Greater Manchester.
Now it’s not every day that your wedding photos contain llamas in bow ties and donkeys in flat caps! It’s the first time I’ve visited this unique working farm wedding venue near Lancashire and I loved it! It’s got a friendly, silly vibe, with a wonderful animal focus, on a hilltop overlooking the beautiful rolling hills of Bolton.
It’s was great to spend the day getting to know Rachel & Rob – they’re a lovely pair! Engaged for 8 years, and forced to postpone from ’21 to ’22 due to the pandemic, meant this day was an extra long time coming!
But the day was all they could have hoped for! My wingman Matt Sim joined Rob and the dudes for their preparations at the Last Drop Village Hotel in Bromley Cross while I joined the girls in the Wellbeing farmhouse for theirs. While it was a bit fresh out, the sun shone all day, the animals didn’t eat anyones bouquets and the magician blew pretty much everyone’s minds! Plus there were amazing burger canapes, carve your own beef joints for the wedding breakfast and a hog roast & sweet cart to fuel dancing after a bit of sparkler fun round the fire pit. No one left hungry, that’s for certain and an amazing day was had by all!
And the photos tell a fun story too! So, grab y’sen a nice warming mug o’Yorkshire tea (or something stronger!) and hit play on the slideshow below to check out their wedding highlights slideshow…
I’ll be uploading their full set of images to a password protected client area in just a few weeks, so if you’d like to be notified when all their images go live, register to be notified at: https://barnabyaldrick.pic-time.com/-rachaelrob/register
(NB: I’ll only use your email address to notify you about their gallery)
In the meantime, feel free to share this loveliness to Facebook using the buttons at the bottom (or copy and paste the web address into a status), via my Facebook page here or hover to pin to Pinterest!
What a fab day hey!? Relaxed and fun, the way I love a wedding.
So here’s wishing this lovely pair huge congratulations and a happy life together and (fingers crossed, as it’s fallen through 3 times now!) a wonderful honeymoon to New York soon!
Big Love,
Barnaby + Matt
