Last weekend I joined Chloe + Luke out near Linton, just outside Wetherby, for their wedding photography at Wood Hall Hotel & Spa!
This was the first time I’ve photographed an outdoor wedding ceremony at Wood Hall, as in my experience Wetherby often has a lot of ‘weather’ in it!
It was almost touch and go on this one, but thankfully they committed and it was just wonderful to get married in the Italianate Gardens, surrounded by nature and a beautiful Yorkshire vista all around!
This was just the perfect day uniting a lovely pair, who’ve known each other since they were teenagers and are still very tender and in love!
While I joined Chloe at Wood hall, my wingwoman Stephanie White joined the chaps and their pooch Rufus over at their home in Morley to brace-up before heading over to the Hall.
After a windy confetti bomb, the guests enjoyed fizz and delicious canapes (mini Yorkshire puds for the win!) while I did quick group photos, had a bit of fun with the wedding party and took the newlyweds for a quick round of portraits.
After a delicious lamb meal and hilarious speeches, we even managed to get out for a wander in the golden hour sunshine, before cutting their beautiful cake and getting down to the brilliant Nashville Heat band, who lit up the dancefloor from the first song!
You couldn’t ask for more really!
