Wedding Photography at Wood Hall near Wetherby: Becky + David

Yesterday I joined Becky + David near Linton in Yorkshire, for their summery wedding photos at Wood Hall Hotel & Spa!

It was a scorcher too… one of the hottest days of the year, topping 30 degrees! I felt for the groomsman in three piece suits!

Everything went beautifully. I had a fun morning with the relaxed bride and her army of fun bridesmaids (each with a wonderfully different regional accent!) in the courtyard suite of rooms at Wood Hall, while my wingman Danny Rich joined the dudes at their home in Ilkley.

Nerves were put to rest after a quick ceremony in Wood Hall’s main Vavasour suite, followed by an afternoon enjoying fizz and nibbles the raging sunshine! A quick round of confetti, groups and portraits, and we were back inside for a delicious meal around cocktail-themed tables (with signage hand painted by David!), followed by fun speeches before the wedding meal. After a stroll down the lawn in the evening sun, it was soon time to cut the cake David’s mum made, before a moving father daughter dance, a cheeky little first dance routine, and thereafter a full dancefloor of revelry!

Becky + David make for a lovely and it was a real pleasure documenting the story of their special day!
