Last Saturday I joined the stunning Emily + Dan for their frankly amazing wedding photos at The Priory in Syninthwiate, a stunning barn and marquee wedding venue on a working farm near Wetherby in Yorkshire!

I love shooting at Priory Cottages, and while the forecast put the ‘weather’ in ‘wetherby’ (a gag that works better off the page!) we found windows in the drizzle for a cracking set of photos, and didn’t let mother nature dampen the spirits!

After fun preparations in their cottages, they held their civil ceremony upstairs in the barn, followed by a shower of confetti before enjoying delicious reception drinks and nibbles from Taste Cuisine. We ducked out for a shot of everyone and a few quick relaxed groups, and before we knew it, speeches were done and dusted and rounds of Jägerbombs were flowing! Before long, the cake was cut and the dancefloor was boucing – then before we left we even got the sparklers out for a few final lovely pics with their guests!

As usual, the shenanigans at were run wonderfully by Serena & the gang at The Priory, and the day went off without a hitch… But the thing I liked most of all was how lovely and chilled this happy couple were together!

So, grab y’sen a mug of Yorkshire tea (or a glass of fizz!) and hit play on the slideshow below to check out their wedding highlights slideshow…

I’ll be uploading their full set of images to a password protected client area in just a few weeks, so if you’d like to be notified when all their images go live, register to be notified at: clients.barnabyaldrick.com/EmilyAndDan
