Yesterday, I joined Terri + Jamie for their stunning, summer wedding photos at The Priory in Syninthwiate, a stylish barn and marquee venue on a working farm near Wetherby in Yorkshire!
The entire day was hosted at Priory Cottages and Terri, Jamie, their guests and their pooch Watson couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day!Â
The sun was shining and preparations were chilled. Jamie’s best man and his son helped keep Jamie cool. As it was a postponed wedding I believe they could only get an 11am slot, so it wasn’t long before we were throwing confetti over the barn balcony, with a lovely long afternoon reception to enjoy! It’s so good to have a long reception to enjoy everyone’s company (and even play a bit of football!), with Taste Cuisine’s delicious canapés and plenty of fizz in the courtyard! After a lovely sharing meal and fun speeches (including a chief bridesmaid’s rap reworking of the Fresh Prince of Bel Aire!), a band came to play outside during cocktail hour, before heading into cut a gorgeous cake their talented pal made. Terri had a dance with her dad before their official first dance, then a DJ and saxophonist came on to bring up the evening party vibes!Â
And with a lovely pair in the middle of all this, all in all this was a most excellent day!
