Last Saturday I joined Hannah & Simon for their lovely sunny wedding photos at The Priory in Syninthwiate, a stylish wedding barn on a working farm near Wetherby in Yorkshire!
Now I’m a fan of dogs, and this was the most brilliantly dog-centric wedding I think I’ve ever papped! There were at least 5 pooches in attendance, including the happy couple’s white German Shepherd, ‘Lola’ – dressed up with buttonhole and doubling up with ring bearer responsibilities! And not only were Albert, Marley, Alfie and the gang in attendance, but the lemon tree-themed wedding breakfast tables were named in their honour! 😀 Love it!
Hannah & Si are are super warm and friendly couple, who only booked their wedding a few months ago! It just goes to show what can be planned in a few months! However, the only civil ceremony slot they could get was at 10.30am, so this meant an early start for all, but a lovely long wedding for the guests! And what a lovely sunny day it was! The sun shone and guests had plenty of time to hang out and relax, even after their delicious meal from caterer extraordinaire Taste Cuisine! I do love a chilled out wedding at Priory Cottages, it just so relaxed (and in the background well run by the amazing Amy & Serena!). ‘Cause it was such a lovely evening, after cutting their lemony cake, the dancefloor thinned out as guests returned to enjoy the evening rays. So Hannah, Si, Lola & I took a final stroll up Featherbed Lane for a few final golden hour portraits!
Can’t ask for more really… A pretty perfect day all round!
