Last Saturday, Hamish and I joined Lucy & Luke for their wedding photography at St Oswald’s Church in Methley and Oulton Hall, near Rothwell on the South side of Leeds!
These two make a lovely pair, and the day flowed brilliantly; relaxed and fun, with great family and friends around them and a nice warm day to boot! Luke likes to work out, and doesn’t drink, so after the ceremony, their pal who supplied the beautiful VW split-screen campervan, gave Lucy a Champagne and Luke a protein shake! That made me laugh. There were loads of big dudes there too, and I thought the groom was well built till I saw his bro – a professional body builder!
The speeches were that great balance of being both hilarious and emotional, and as guests rolled over to Oulton Hall’s golf clubhouse – the Claret Jug – fun and games were had on the balcony, at the casino tables & on the dancefloor!
Check it all out in the highlights movie below…
I’ve set the above slideshow to music they enjoyed throughout the day, including ‘Songbird’ by Eva Cassidy & ‘These Arms of Mine’ by Otis Redding – available to download at amazon music at amazon.co.uk/digitalmusic.

So here’s wishing Lucy + Luke massive congratulations and a fantastic married life together!
Here’s hoping they have a fantastic honeymoon in Vegas & Mexico!
All the very best guys!
