A few weeks back I joined Stefania & Ben for their pre-wedding practice shoot, to discuss their plans for their Ukrainian style wedding in Bradford next weekend…
We met on at Bingley St Ives park on the Pennine Bridleway
And after a quick catchup in the cafe, we took to exploring the grounds for a few pics
I say this a lot (as I post a lot of pre-wedding posts), but these shoots are so good for me to get to know my couples, for them to relax in front of the camera, and are a great opportunity for a fun photoshoot to get a nice set of non-wedding couple pics.
It almost doesn’t matter where the shoot is done, as it’s more about the couple & the process than the background. But if I’ve not photographed at a venue before, it’s good to meet there to scout spots for the big day.
In these guys case, they’re getting married at the Ukranian club in Bradford, that I’ve shot at twice, so we chose a park they both like for the ‘pre-wed’
I’m particularly excited about this wedding, as the two ‘Ukey’ weddings I’ve photographed before have been an absolute riot!
Loads of ace traditions, LOADS of shots and an AMAZING amount of dancing!
But it was great to get these guys together for some quiet cuddles in the woods, and to see how lovely they are together.
Bring it on! Stay tuned for a fun wedding blog of highlights on Sunday!
