Next weekend I’ll be joining these lovely guys for their wedding up in Harmston in Nottinghamshire, before heading for their reception at Norwood Park!
I always like going somewhere fresh to meet couples to catch up on their big day plans and for a round of practice photos. So as I’ve photographed at Norwood Park before, we decided to meet in Kate’s hometown of Harmston, pretty much in the middle of nowhere!
😉
The weather was looking ominous on the way over, as I stopped to grab a few scene setters, and I liked how Harmston Hall on the hill was caught in a shaft of sun
But it kindly settled down as I arrived into town to have a cuppa and a slice of mum’s cake with Kate & Phil
Then after out catch up we headed over to the church for a quick recce and to start the shoot!
Aww, look at ’em! An attractive pair or what?!
I do enjoy these ‘pre-wed’ shoots, not just cause it’s fun to watch people squirm, but cause they’re an opportunity to show a couple they’re going to look great.
A few nice pre-wed portraits makes the WORLD of difference to the portrait shoot on the big day.
It’s more relaxed, they trust me (hopefully!), and it’s quicker so they can get back to the party faster!
Sometimes all you need for a great set of pics is a peely old barn door and a brick wall! I’m always on the look out for these!
♥
I like this one, having a snuggle overlooking the countryside.
Then to wrap up, we headed back to the family home to unleash Barley!
Barley like stick.
Aww.
Fun times!
Stay tuned for the wedding highlights early next week kids!
