On Friday we had the great pleasure of join Lisa + Lee for their wedding Photography at Rise Hall, out between Beverley and Hull in Easy Yorkshire!
It’s the first time I’ve shot here, and it was a massive pleasure to check out this fabulous Grade II listed stately home in the East Riding, especially after seeing Sarah Beeny’s Restoration Nightmare show about the development of this incredible building.  Lisa + Lee threw a brilliant wedding (with the help of the lovely Helen & Rachael on the Rise Team!), and the day was full of belly laughs and great craic from their friends, family & children.  Lee’s the head chef at Harvey Nichols restaurant in Leeds, and the catering (including nominated guest chef serving and a beautiful cake made of macaroons!) perfectly reflected his passion for top grub. It was great to see the best man Ozzy & his wife too – who’s wedding I shot years back – and to hear his frankly hilarious speech (all delivered in a kinky apron).
After the banter at Lisa + Lee’s practice pre-wed I knew this’d be a fun one.  And while you think you’ve seen it all before, I didn’t expect to see a man in only his gruds and an apron serving chicken, a full scale football match or a horse on the dancefloor.
Fun times…
I hope you enjoy their wedding story!
Great fun wedding hey?  Lisa + Lee really were a lot of fun to be around.
It was a massive pleasure these guys for their big day at Rise Hall. Here’s wishing these guys a long and happy life together and a fab honeymoon in Lanzarote with the kids!
