Last Saturday I joined the very lovely Fiona & George for their big day at Heaton Mount in Bradford.
It’s the first time I’ve shot a wedding there and this beautiful 1860’s Italianate mansion, within the home of Bradford University’s School of Management, was a splendid location to enjoy a chilled, summery afternoon and evening knees up!
I hope you enjoy the story of their special day!
While Hamish headed over to the chaps in Idle, I joined the girls in Eccleshill at Fiona’s family home to document the morning’s fun with the bridal party.
Meanwhile over with the chaps…
The wedding took place at The Holy Trinity Church in Idle
Loving the 40’s wheels!
Fiona looked stunning in her Phil Collins gown from Cinderella’s in Skiptons!
The ace bouquets were by The Greenhouse in Idle.
A quick full bridal party teamshot before hitting the road!
I do like a good confetti bomb!
Then it was over to the beautiful Heaton Mount for the afternoon’s reception
We did a quick round of portraits around the hall
What a lovely pair eh?
Then it was in to mingle with their guests
The wedding party were great craic! I always like to make these a bit more fun than people expect from traditional groupshots
After dusk set in, we did a few quick portraits before the party got started…
The cakes were fun, with a ‘proper’ cake, and one made by their kids! See if you can guess which was which.
😉
Being fans of Baywatch – and who’s not?! – Fiona & George did their first dance to the Baywatch theme!
Before breaking out the Baywatch lifesaver cans!
Top times all round! Here’s a massive congratulations to a lovely couple!
