Last weekend I joined Lucy + Ben for their Wedding Photography at The Woodman Inn in the excellently named Thunderbridge, in Kirkburton not far from Huddersfield!
After recent snowfall and drizzle at the start of the big day, the weather was still hanging onto winter, but fortunately when it mattered it was dry enough to get guests photos and couple shots outside around the village around the Woodman Pub. This also didn’t dampen proceedings, and everyone seemed to have a lovely day around this pretty little village. Lucy + Ben both got ready with their teams in different parts of the pub lodgings (and to kill a bit of time Ben took their pals donated wedding car, a rocketship Audi RS6 round the block a few times!). The ceremony was a whistle stop, but emotional affair and all of a sudden it was fizz and canapés, with fun speeches after a delicious chicken dinner, then their awesome band ‘Storm’ led them onto the dancefloor to party the night away (with an impressively sozzled gran, who tried to storm the stage!)
