On Saturday we joined Claire + Tom to photograph their wonderful summery wedding at Middleton Lodge, in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales, near Richmond!
As these two met skiing and are sports mad, there were lots of fun touches throughout the day.  And after a beautiful service by Monsignor at their family church in Nunthorpe, near Middlesborough, complete with a choirconducted by Tom’s mum singing Swing Low Sweet Chariot, the gang crossed into Richmondshire for the reception.  After a meteorologically mixed start, you couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful summer’s evening for the afternoon partying!  The weather’s the only thing you can’t book at a wedding, and it’s so nice seeing friends and family on the lawn outside Middleton Lodge soaking in the sunshine with cocktails, their own hand-pulled pints of real ale and amazing canapes (including mini bites of the infamous North Eastern delicacy, the parmo!).
I hope you enjoy our story of the day!
It’s always lovely joining a fun pair for a relaxed, bit awesome wedding celebration up at Middleton Lodge! Here’s wishing Claire & Tom a very happy life together as man and wife!
Have a fantastic African honeymoon split between beachy Mozambique and Safari in South Africa! I’m well jealous!
