This week I’ll be joining Tamsin & Brian (and their lovely little one-eyed pooch Lexi) for their big day at The Old Deanery in Ripon!
The Old Deanery is somewhere I’ve not photographed before, so it was fab to head into North Yorkshire for a good pre-wedding catch up with my old schoolpal Tammy, and her lucky fella (who clearly has fab taste, as he came in a matching 2 piece tweed blaze & waistcoat combo!).  Afterwards, we took a good nosey round this historical 17th century stone building and a turn amongst the (albeit drizzly!) willows around its terraced gardens.  It’s always nice to get chance to do a run through of how it feels to get shot (so to speak) by me, to make the big day portraits easier and less weird! It was also nice while I was up, to take a bit of time to check out the giant Ripon Cathedral opposite, and to set the scene around the ace market square of Ripon.
It’s gonna be a brilliantly relaxed wedding, eschewing loads of formal wedding traditions for a relaxed, dog-friendly vibes!
Here are a few of my faves from the catch up…
Stay tuned for their official big day highlights later this week!
