Last weekend I joined Kerry & Mark at Harewood House for their pre-wedding practice shoot ahead of their wedding at Ripley Castle this weekend.
It was a bit of a drizzly ol’ day, but Harewood House still looked ace.
Wandering around these places sets my imagination racing with all kinds of Downton Abbey type activity & scandal!
But now wasn’t the time to be pretending I was Lord Grantham cavorting with chamber maids, I had work to do…
So after a good catch up with Kerry & Mark about their big day plans, we took to the grounds
…starting by sheltering from the rain in the old stables!
I always like to put my upcoming victims, *I mean couples*, through a practice shoot to show them how it feels to be photographed.
They’re always so useful to show the bride and groom to be how it feels to be papped – usually pretty awkward…
…and what I require from them – to cuddle, have fun and do their best to pretend I’m not there!
In spite of the weather, these guys were great at just relaxing together and I was really pleased with the pictures we captured together
Not a bad location to use either!
So here’s hoping this was a helpful experience for Kerry & Mark, and here’s looking forward to the big day this weekend!
