Last Sunday after a weekend’s activity up in the lakes (blog here), I caught up with Natalie & Rob for their pre-wedding practice shoot!

Although they’re getting married up at Bolton CastleĀ in the Dales, I’m familiar with the venue already (check out a previous snowy visit here), so instead of doing the shoot there, we decided to do it at the lovely Kirkstall Abbey in Leeds. Ā I often walk my dog here and love to stroll around the ruins of this great medeaval Cistercian monastery.

I always find it super useful to put my couples through the experience of being photographed, to make it easier & quicker for both them & I on their big day!

So here are a few highlights from the shoot…

It’s nice to see that Spring has finally decided to, er, sprung.

With the weather we’ve had of late, I’m not convinced the flowers know which way is up.

It was ace to catch up with these guys and we’re now all really looking forward to the big day! Ā Stay tuned for more the day after their wedding!
