On Saturday I joined Jen + Dan for their wedding photography at The Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art, on Gateshead Quays in the centre of Newcastle!
It was a really brilliant day all round spent around this amazing city, with a really lovely couple surrounded by fantastic family and friends. After relaxed morning preparations at Dan’s mum’s house in Newcastle and the fanciest Malmaison suite overlooking the Baltic Gallery, the gang headed off to St John’s Church in Wideopen, before bringing a touch of London to ferry guests back to the Baltic on London Routemaster busses (while their family friend Bob chauffeured the newlyweds in his old Rolls Royce Silver Cloud)! It was really lovely having an afternoon reception overlooking the amazing River Tyne bridges and architecture, before a hilarious speeches and a lovely meal in the Baltic’s ‘Six Restaurant’. Then my wingman Tim & I bid the gang adieu to enjoy their evening do in peace!
As well as this highlights blog, I’ll be uploading their full set of images to a password protected client area in a few weeks, so if you’d like to be notified when all their images go live, register your email address at: clients.barnabyaldrick.com/JenAndDan. (NB: I’ll only use your email address to notify you about their gallery!)
In the meantime, I hope you enjoy these fun teasers from their wedding story…
What a lovely day hey?! Really fun and cracking weather to boot!
Here’s wishing this pair huge congratulations, a very happy live together as man + wife, and an awesome honeymoon in the Maldives!
