Yesterday, I joined the very lovely Sarah & Richard for their wedding photography at the excellent boutique hotel and eatery, The Crab & Lobster and Crab Manor in Asenby, near Thirsk in North Yorkshire.  It’s such a cool place for a wedding, split between ‘Crab Manor’ – an elegant hotel in an 18th-century Georgian manor – and the Crab & Lobster Restaurant – a thatched, nautically-themed restaurant, famous for it’s seafood!  The thing I like about this place are its boutique stylings – all the rooms are decorated according to different themes, ranging from an Indian palace to a Nordic lodge, and there are random, fun nicknacks hung, strung and strewn across all surfaces (and even things like a full Bell Diving suit and a skelenton in a wicker wheelchair hung from the ceilings!).  Basically, anywhere with a giant yeti in a tiara and a secret beer tap (that’s free to all who can find it), is good with me!
The day itself turned out beautifully, a crisp and sporadically sunny Autumn day, and it was lovely to see the kids and guests hanging out in and around the manor, before heading down to the Crab & Lobster for a delicious meal, at which point we bid our farewell!
I hope you enjoy my faves from the day…
Here’s wishing Sarah + Richard a very happy married life together indeed, and here’s hoping you guys, Gracie & Scarlett all have an awesome time in Disneyland Paris!
So lovely to hang out with you guys and be part of the big day!
