Wedding Couple kissing outside the church in lower slaughter in the cotswolds

Last weekend I had the very great pleasure to join Rachel & Rich for their wedding photography in the beautiful Cotswolds! They had their ceremony at St Mary’s Church in (the WAY more lovely to look at than it sounds) Lower Slaughter and their reception in the barn at Hyde House in Stow-On-The-Wold.

This is the fourth wedding I’ve photographed for this wonderful family – two of the groom’s brothers and the bride’s sister – and it was honestly such a massive pleasure to see everyone again! They’re such a tight crew – with loads of love, fun & emotion always just babbling away near the surface! One minute the girls burst into spontaneous dance, the next there are tears at the alter, then it’s high fives into the wedding breakfast and laughing and partying into the night. My wingman Jamie Sia and I commented more than once that we wished we had parents and pals as lovely as these lot…  There was no classic stiff upper lipped English repression on show here – emotion was on display! My kind of wedding… and I think it shows in the lovely pics!

As well as the highlights in this post, you can also view & purchase prints from Rachel & Rich’s wedding (including their full set of wedding images in under a month from their wedding date) at (the password is the brides surname and the grooms surname without a space, eg. SmithJones).

I’ve also put together a video slideshow of their highlights below set to a few songs they love, including Ben E King’s ‘Stand By Me’ & Beyonce’s ‘Love On Top’:

I hope you enjoy the images as much as we did shooting them…

What a delight hey? A beautiful pair on the inside and out!

Here’s wishing Rachel & Rich a magic life together bursting with love, dancing and happy tears! Have a brilliant honeymoon in Bali guys!
