Cotswolds wedding photography: Hyde Barn & St Mary's Lower Slaughter

Last weekend I had the very great pleasure to join Rachel & Rich for their wedding photography in the beautiful Cotswolds! They had their ceremony at St Mary’s Church in (the WAY more lovely to look at than it sounds) Lower Slaughter and their reception in the barn at Hyde House in Stow-On-The-Wold.

This is the fourth wedding I’ve photographed for this wonderful family – two of the groom’s brothers and the bride’s sister – and it was honestly such a massive pleasure to see everyone again! They’re such a tight crew – with loads of love, fun & emotion always just babbling away near the surface! One minute the girls burst into spontaneous dance, the next there are tears at the alter, then it’s high fives into the wedding breakfast and laughing and partying into the night. My wingman Jamie Sia and I commented more than once that we wished we had parents and pals as lovely as these lot… There was no classic stiff upper lipped English repression on show here – emotion was on display! My kind of wedding… and I think it shows in the lovely pics!
