Last Saturday I joined Preet + Anthony for their Anglo/Indian wedding photography at Priory Cottages in Syningthwaite, near Wetherby, in Yorkshire!
It was an incredible day, full of Indian colour and sparkle! It was such fun to photograph. The Priory makes for the perfect spot for a wedding like this – as everything is in one place. Everyone can enjoy relaxed preparations in the lovely cottages, the ceremony can be hosted in the beautiful upstairs of the barn, and if they’re lucky enough to have the sun blazing like these guys were, guests can hang on the terrace and enjoy the fizz and indian themed canapes, while we snap the story of the day! Perfect.
Plus, Preet + Tony make for a lovely pair – they’re really sweet together – and have a common interest in their ‘CrossFit’ obsession – almost half of their friends there were CrossFit exercise buddies!
As well as this highlights blog, I’ll be uploading their full set of images to a password protected client area in a matter of weeks, so if you’d like to be notified when all their images go live, register your email address at: clients.barnabyaldrick.com/PreetAndAnthony. (NB: I’ll only use your email address to notify you about their gallery)
It’s so lovely to photograph all the details at a wedding with all the Indian trimmings – henna patterns, all the jewellery and even a late night change out dress for Preet! – so I hope you enjoy the pics Hamish & I shot of this gorgeous day…
What a lovely day hey?! Fun times – and so full of beautiful detail!
Here’s wishing this lovely pair huge congratulations and an amazing honeymoon in Europe ahead of their Asian adventure to Thailand and Bali next year!
Loads of love guys!
