I’ve just realised it might be worth letting some of you know that I’m going to be at the Woodlands Hotel (above) Wedding Fair in Leeds this Sunday (tomorrow! The 17th April).  If any of you are heading along anyway or fancy popping by to join me in a coffee it’d be great to natter.

I’ll have jelly babies & haribo on the table too, as even though I don’t do a huge number of fairs, they’re a tried and true tractor beam.

Over the years I’ve shot a lot of weddings at Woodlands, for all kinds of clients in all kinds of seasons.  It’s a stunning place to shoot.

The grounds are beautiful & contained (good for kids to run about in) and while the outside is traditional the inside is clean and modern.

I’ve shot some of my fave images there round the Woodlands steps, such as this one of Karen & Marcus; giving it moody Armani stare.

Again Karen & Marcus arriving roud the rear with their awesome old Jag

A recent image from this summer’s wedding of Leo & Angie, showing guests milling outside on the veranda.

Probably my fave thing about Woodlands is their fish & chip canapes!

Civil Ceremonies are generally held in their recently extended restaurant area.

The meals & evening receptions are generally in the versatile marquee.

Personally, as a ‘tog, I love anything with a white roof to bounce flash off!

But the marquee looks great when lit, as shown with Angie & Pete’s wedding last Autumn.

It also always looks ace at Woodlands as dusk rolls in.

So if you’re about tomorrow, do come say hey & I’ll butter you up with sweets!
