This Bank Holiday Monday, Hamish & I joined Gemma + Karl for their wedding photography at Rudding Park in Harrogate, North Yorkshire.
The entire day was a brilliantly regal, but relaxed affair, with a beautiful and fun couple at the centre of things. The fun and games started at Gemma + Karl’s home with bridal bubbles and pampering on the family farm in Ossett, (while Karl had bacon butties at his best man’s pad in Methley), then the service was held at St Ignatius Church in Ossett, before retiring to Rudding Park in Harrogate, for the wedding reception. It was simply a pleasure being around Gemma & Karl, as we ‘just clicked’ (or at least all had the same silly sense of humour!) and the day went off without a hitch. Even the forecast, which had proposed black clouds all day long, ended up delivering a warm and sunny evening, which it was nice to get our newlyweds back out in for a second round of portraits. The evening party was top craic too, with plenty of dancing to the excellent ‘Dukes of Havock’ while we ran out fun photobooth to capture guests having a bit of a laugh in fancy dress! Check it out…
That was a pretty epic one eh?! It’s always ace having some photobooth fun to get shots of guests in the evening.
So here’s wishing Gem + Karl an absolutely wicked honeymoon and a magical life together as Lord + Lady Stead-Heath!
All the best you lovely people
x
Barnaby
