Next week I’ll be joining Caroline & Marc as their wedding photographer at Priory Cottages near Wetherby in North Yorkshire.
Priory Cottages is a place I’ve photographed at many times and I always enjoy shooting there.
I always like to do a pre-wedding practice shoot with all couples, to get them used to being papped, so after a quick catch up with Caroline & Marc, we got cracking on a round of relaxed portraits!
Caroline clearly loved the idea of being photographed!
But that’s the whole point of these shoots, to get to know a couple, and to show them that the portraits are a bit of fun, rather than something to worry about!
I always like shooting under the arch on the front of the old Priory building, the light there is always lovely
Then we took a stroll down into the fields
This path is glorious at sunset, as the sun shines straight at us
I’m always looking for nice textures to shoot in front of, like this red painted brick wall on the side of the old farmhouse
Or these potato pallets, that contrast nicely with these fancy heels!
Hey look! Â A tractor tyre! LET’S GET IN IT!
😉
It was lovely to catch up with these two and put them through a round of pics. Â Hopefully it’s made the process easier for the big day next week!
