Yesterday I joined Thikra + John for their wedding photography at Hazlewood Castle, on the way out between Leeds and York near Tadcaster!
These guys actually live out in toasty Doha (in Qatar in the Middle East), and Yorkshire couldn’t have looked more lush for them to enjoy a beautifully British wedding, with a slight Middle Eastern vibe! They make a fab pair – who just seem to laugh and laugh together.  The day went off without a hitch too, with morning preparations at Thikra’s family home in Rodley in West Leeds and in a lovely cottage in Ilkley, then over at the ancient and imposing Hazlewood Castle (complete with secret booklined doorways!). They had a lovely chapel blessing from their pal, the Bishop of Fulham, and enjoyed afternoon canapés and drinks in the castle courtyard.  After the meal Thikra’s family and Iraqi got everyone up with traditional scarves to get down to some amazing music, before partying the night away.
It was a huge pleasure to join these guys to tell their wedding story…
I hope you enjoy their wedding story!
Fab day hey!? And what a lovely location in which to host a thoroughly Yorkshire Wedding!
Congratulations to both Thikra +Â John and may they have a fab honeymoon in Barbados & a wonderful life together!
