This weekend I’ll be joining this lovely pair, Vicki and Vincent to photograph their big day at Wood Hall.
I always like to meet my couples ahead of their wedding for an informal catch up and a round of ‘practice’ portraits, to get them used to the process of being photographed.  It’s generally a pretty odd experience having portraits taken as a couple, so I like to show my upcoming couples how it feels and what I require from them to keep the photos relaxed, quick and fun.
When I’ve photographed at a wedding venue I have before – like I have at Wood Hall – I offer it up to the couple to choose a place for the photos.  So we met at Golden Acre Park in Leeds, on a wonderfully sunny evening after work, and had a little stroll around the grounds.  It was a perfect place for Vicki & Vincent to get used to having their picture taken, and they did great!
These are a selection of my faves from the meet…
I’ll be blogging their wedding highlights on the Sunday /Â Monday after the wedding, so stay tuned to see the story of their big day!
Cheers for reading folks!
