Yesterday Hamish & I joined Jen + Connor for their beautiful wedding at The Inn at Whitewell in a beautiful part of Clitheroe in Lancashire!
These guys make a really fabulous pair – for one they both love a spot of amateur dramatics, so already they’re my kind of people – but it’s always a delight photographing a couple who are completely in love. So it was a pleasure joining them to capture their wedding story!
I joined team bride for their relaxed preparations in the Piggaries cottages, on the Whitewell estate, while Hamish joined the chaps at the end of their 4mile morning stomp around the moors. The ceremony was in St Michael’s, the village church (conveniently adjoining the Inn!!), and with a lovely warm summers afternoon on the first day of June, it was great seeing everyone out in the sun enjoying the view and the weather (and a few shandies)!
Their entertainer and MC showboat, Howard Wing, got the party flowing during the meal, with audience singalong and conga lines, before Connors daughter sung in the first dance! It honestly was a lovely day all round, with fab family, guests and vibes!
As well as the highlights in this blog post, you can also view & purchase prints from Jen + Connor’s wedding (including their pre-wedding shoot and the full set of wedding images) at clients.barnabyaldrick.com/JenAndConnor (the password is the brides surname and the grooms surname, eg. SmithJones).
I hope you enjoy the pics as much as we did shooting them…
What a lovely day hey?
Here’s wishing this lovely pair a fantasic minimoon in Dublin ahead of their honeymoon fun in Dubai & The Maldives in July!
Big love guys! You rock x
